Originally from the outskirts of Munich, Germany, Max's journey began not in jazz, but with the sounds of Nirvana, Guns N' Roses, and Soundgarden. His passion for music was ignited at a young age when he attended a big band concert with his father. This experience led him to immerse himself in the world of jazz, eventually joining his school jazz band and falling in love with improvisation. Max's dedication and talent soon saw him become the first German guitarist to join the Official European Jazz Orchestra. He went on to win the prestigious ECHO Jazz Award, toured extensively across Europe and Africa, and became a brand ambassador for Ibanez Guitars.

In 2017, Max's entrepreneurial spirit took him to New York City, where he developed his first digital product for his jazz guitar academy over the course of three months in a café. This venture into online education was a pioneering move in a predominantly analog world, and through his innovative online courses, Max successfully scaled his business to six-figure revenues while building a loyal digital community​.

Max's commitment to continuous learning led him to complete the CAS Digital Marketing program at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences. He has since leveraged his extensive knowledge to assist organizations like the Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy and GEMA in digitizing their offerings​.
